It's been a while since we had any updates, the bots are so eager to come out and play, but we've all been busy and haven't been able to work it out.

However, the video documentation of nicebots will be shown at this year's Ars Electronica Festival in the "Hybrid Creatures and Paradox Machines" Exhibit. Stop by and check it out if you're there!

December, 26 2004
Finally the long awaited video documentation of the project is ready! We know it's a bit long, but hey, the project lasted a whole month!

October 2004
the NICEBOTS exhibition ended on a rainy day of October 14, 2004. There were total of 27 robots at the end. We packed and shipped everything back to New York, while future of the bots await. Here are some pics from the last few days:

This lady came on the very last day, while we were packing the robots away. She had been wanting to see the exhibit, but couldn't take off work from the hospital. The best thing we could do was offer a photo on the site and gave her a bunch of souviniers...

NICEBOTS officially open last night with a reception and a speech by the mayor of Nice. Bots were very well received and our sponsor very pleased with the result! Current status: 10 Nicebots, 1 sony aibo, and 1 flying bot. Some pics from the opening:
