Nice-New York Reception, Arman's Loft in NYC: On the eve of December 17 2004, the Nice Tourism Office (Tourisme et des Congrès de Nice) organized a small, intimate reception to celebrate relationship between the City of Nice and Tisch's School of the Arts, NYU. The event was held in Arman's loft in west side Manhattan. Six nicebots were presented at the reception. Arman is known world-wide for his works in mixed media using real objects as paint brushes, cut-up bronze statues, and other large scale installations, his art is exhibited in many important museums around the world. Together with Yves Klein, Arman started the "Ecole de Nice", collective of avant-garde painters from Nice. It was an honor for the nicebots to roam around in his studio gallery.
